THE WISH JOURNEY

The wish journey begins with the doctor’s referral. They refer children who have been diagnosed with critical illness such as such as cancer, heart diseases, thalassemia, based on the medical diagnosis. It also states their eligibility, and the impact the wish could have. Our dedicated staff and incredible volunteers work closely to plan a wish journey that complements a child’s medical treatment and enduring welfare.

Wish Capture

Our team captures a critically ill child’s most dear wish with patience, creativity and understanding of the child’s illness and family situation. This profound insight makes the wish unique.

WISH DESIGN

Every wish child is unique and so is their imagination. We design each wish experience that will be extraordinary & stay true to the child’s heartfelt wish.

WISH ANTICIPATION

As they embark on the journey to the wish, there is a build-up anticipation. This refreshing distraction from medical treatment can be as powerful as the wish itself.

The magical moment of realization when the wish is fulfilled. Their delight with their family and often siblings is captured at our Wish Day. It’s everything they’ve envisioned and more.

Each wish we grant is as unique as the child. Yet, one thing remains consistent - the undeniable power each wish can have on a child’s emotional and physical health. A majority of our wish children go on to ‘cope better with or even ‘beat their illnesses’. A wish is empowering and life-affirming. It doesn’t signal the end.
