Working as a hospital volunteer allows Niloo to bring a ray of hope to unwell children, fulfilling her desire to be with them and avoid other office activities. One memorable experience that Niloo recollects involved a very sick 12-year-old girl who had lost hope. Her wish was to celebrate her birthday on a boat in the sea with friends and cousins, something she had never done before. Make-A-Wish India organized a beautiful yacht party for her, and I was fortunate enough to witness her joy. Despite her illness, she was incredibly happy, and even after being hospitalized shortly after her birthday, she shared her happiness with everyone and bounced back transforming her attitude from negative to positive. This experience, like many others, ignited a ray of hope in her, showing that good things can happen and life can be more than just sorrow. Seeing the children’s happiness and hope makes this work immensely fulfilling for Niloo. Niloo has deep belief in the cause and is a volunteer converted to a donor. Recently when her family opened a new factory plant, they donated a small amount on behalf of every guest who attended the event to Make-A-Wish India.
