Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav will be celebrated on 15 August 2022. As the 75th anniversary of India’s independence, Make-a-Wish India will celebrate by launching our new website and raising enough funds to fulfil the wishes of 75 children. You have the opportunity to help us reach our goal by making a life-changing contribution. We accept donations in any currency or amount. Not only can you donate money, but you can also purchase a wish or two.
For 27 years, our organization has been making dreams come true for children who suffer from critical illnesses. To date, we have supported 77,358 children with the help of more than 600 doctors and 145 hospitals. With 11 locations, we receive nearly 10,000 referrals every year. It is through the support of donors and volunteers we can grant the wish of each and every child referred to us.
Make a Difference
The wishes that we grant do more than make children smile; they also have an impact on health. These children feel empowered, which improves their state of mind. Additionally, children who participate in our program are more likely to comply with medical treatment and improve their health status. Granting a wish can create a turning point in the life of a child with a critical illness.
Reaching Future Goals
Our current goal is to grant Make-a-Wish India’s 100,000th wish by our 30th anniversary in 2025. Although this goal is ambitious, we believe that it is possible to reach it as long as we have the generosity of our donors.
